Laurent Batsch biography

Doctorate in management sciences from Dauphine University
Laurent Batsch has been a professor of corporate finance at Dauphine University, Paris, since 1999.
In 2001, he formed the Masters 246 course in real estate management, approved by RICS.
He was elected president of the university from June 2007 to the end of 2016. Laurent Batsch has steered structural reforms in the University, securing the EQUIS accreditation for the establishment. He also launched Fondation Dauphine, created numerous chairs, opened a second campus in La Défense business district and increased its independence.
In 2011, he spearheaded the creation of a new research centre for Paris Dauphine, known as Paris Sciences and Humanities, working with other prestigious establishments that share its selective, academic culture and are firmly anchored in research.
All these achievements had a single objective: make Dauphine internationally renowned as a centre of quality teaching and research.
